What We Are Looking For:

Shams Power is looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive who will be responsible for outbound sales prospecting and lead generation for the company. The individual will be equipped with information about target prospects and our company’s offering that will help them build a solid understanding of the industry and sales process to spark meaningful conversations and to initiate leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service , answer questions about offering or the company
  • Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers and update and manage sales activities, opportunities, and account information in CRM
  • Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales and direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
  • Enter and update customer information in the database and take and process orders in an accurate manner
  • Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move multiple transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline.
  • Execute a land-and-expand sales strategy with well thought out enterprise sales strategies. Provide regular reporting of prospecting, pipeline and forecast through the CRM system.

Qualification:

  • A bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field is preferred
  • At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role,
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Detail oriented, resourceful and flexible, strong organizational skills
  • Good time management and analytical skills.
  • Good telephone etiquette and computer literacy skills.
  • Background in sales will be preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office and Google apps and ability to adapt to new tools and software
